Loved our self guided coastal drive along the rugged coast line. The views were incredible. The only downfall, wish we could’ve stayed in the Newport area longer.

It was a rainy day in fall! Still the drive was beautiful. So many amazing and historic mansions and beautiful beach houses! We thoroughly enjoyed our drive. Pretty relaxing!

My oh my. I could live there. Newport in itself is extremely gorgeous but if you don’t stop here you are completely missing out. My breathe slows, my eyes widen, my heart sinks, and i feel free. The sunsets here are like no other. You can go to as many beaches as you want but never will you go on an ocean drive this long and this gorgeous. It will always be this place that can clear my head.

As a local, this is one of my favorite Sunday drives especially off season. Beautiful coastline and homes with park areas, walking, and limited beach access. Worth the drive. Pictures are from off season rainy day with beautiful waves.

One of the nicest coastal drives i’ve ever been on, gorgeous beach views with the waves crashing all along the cliff rocks on one side and beautiful mansions on the other. Multiple free parking lots along the 10 miles including access to Gooseberry beach.
