  • You can get closer to the Falls when you descend 175 feet into the Niagara Gorge and experience the power of the Falls from the Hurricane Deck at Cave Of The Winds. they provide you with a poncho along with the ticket. this is one of the best experiences in the world. You won't be disappointed if you ever plan a trip to the Niagara Falls. It is worth a visit just for the sheer thrill of seeing one of the world's best waterfalls that attracts over 30-million visitors from across the globe, every year.
  • Our family decided to do Cave of the Winds on a recommendation from staff at the Marriott we were staying at nearby. We're also all afraid of heights, and abandoned plans to do the Maid of the Mist after seeing the glass elevator tower you ride up and the bridge you have to walk across. Once you officially enter, your group piles into a room for a very quick history recap of the Niagara falls. Thankfully, this video is only about 5 minutes long and is entertaining so it will not bore the kids (or adults) with a history lesson. After exiting you walk through a tunnel and to an elevator, which takes you down to the base. This is all truly self-guided, you get whatever you want out of it. It can be as quick as you want it to be. We were in and out in about 20 minutes, took some great photos and videos at Hurricane Deck and got out. So glad we did this instead of the boat ride, I feel like you really got to feel the power and take in the beauty much more this way than viewing from a boat.
  • Amazing experience. I loved it so much. The cost is about $19 for adults and about $14 for kids. There was a line but it went quick. You are able to pick a time slot. Once you enter into the building there is a museum on the history of the falls and then you watch a small video about the waterfalls. You then will exit and get a poncho; that is when the real fun begins. There are stairs to go up and down. The further up the waterfall you climb; the more you will get wet. There is a section called hurricane and it is the most wind and water of the whole experience. Some tips are to wear the poncho from the maid of the mist (if you go to that experience first), wear shoes that are able to get wet (no socks), dress lightly, waterproof your cameras and/ or phones and most importantly have fun. *PS you will get soaked*
  • You have never experienced the Niagara Falls truly if you haven’t gone here. We booked the total tour package with a third party tour agency, and they organised everything for us. It was a summer long weekend, so everywhere it was packed. We had to wait in line before getting the elevator access, however this is worth. You will be taking stairs to go actually almost near to a branch of the Niagara Falls. You can touch the water and feel the force. This is magnificent. They will give you rain Pancho and a belted flip-flop. Make sure that you can take a few stairs. The stairs are wooden and can be watery. Everything is worth when it comes to the experience. I can’t recommend enough .
  • 9/15/22 Must do activity in Niagara Falls! Total cost per person is $19. I enjoyed the intro video as it was informative and interesting. Definitely grabs your attention. I advise you to wear water shoes. You will be drenched too. It gets very windy so water starts to pour into your poncho. Looking forward to coming back.
