  • Nice walk, but please take note of the spotted lantern flies! They are invasive and seem to be everywhere!

  • Very pretty state park. 3 or 4 different sections to visit. Reasonable entrance fee. Sad to see so much trash along the beach line washed up but that's just the current human condition I guess. Regardless, the park ranger we spoke to was so incredibly pleasant and helpful and she genuinely seemed to enjoy her job.
  • Overall great place. Average size sites for a state park. Lots of wildlife. Park staff was friendly and helpful. Some of the trails could use some trimming but it is spring time. Verizon Cell service is very poor in the area.
  • Took our pups for a walk on the beach. It was GORGEOUS. A perfect spot to pick sea shells, sea glass, drift wood for crafting, and the view is breathtaking. The pups had a blast and we did too. Highly recommend stopping by, there is even a swing set overlooking the water.
  • Great state park here in Cecil County, MD. Very relaxing and quiet camping experience. There are plenty of campsites, with and without hook ups. Lots to do with play grounds, hiking trails, nature center, the beach, and more. We're lucky to live close!
  • An excellent place to stretch your legs. Get off the couch and step outside. Your brain will love it here. Plenty to do and plenty of trails to explore. The parking is easy but it is off the beaten path so it takes a minute to get here from pretty much anywhere. Worth the drive
