Create an itinerary including Alligator Adventure
In addition to its namesake creatures, Alligator Adventure hosts an array of animals, such as beavers, tigers, reptiles, and more. Wander the center, as much a zoo as an alligator park, and visit the exhibits featuring native and non-native creatures. Don't miss the shows, including live alligator feedings and lessons in alligator and snake handling. You'll not only have the chance to admire American alligators, but also an albino alligator, a Chinese alligator, and even a crocodile. Check the website for information about feedings, show times, and special ticket offers. • Wow! What an adventure! We arrived shortly before opening on a weekday. Get ready to walk around 2 miles in total. We stayed 2 hours enjoying the exhibits. The park was clean and well kept. There’s ample shade and a few indoor exhibits to cool off. In addition to education on many species of alligators and crocodiles (an albino alligator), there were ostriches, hyenas, mountain lion , flamingos, turtles, birds, parrots, macaws, snakes, lizards, boas and lemurs! The staff was friendly and it was an enjoyable family experience for our 4 & 9 year olds. Be prepared to spend another $100 at the gift shop for must have tees and coffee mugs. We skipped the food and had a few waters and sweet tea while visiting, which comes in a souvenir cup.
  • Very great family fun day! Very informative and knowledgeable about all the animals. They had a reptile show where you can pet a snake and an alligator! The kids loved it! Definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone! Very friendly and they had a snack bar with various items. New animals as such as mountain lions and hyenas.
  • As a reptile keeper myself, this place was great to visit. All the animals were healthy and in good shape, enclosures were clean and appropriate for each species, they even seem to have their own veterinary clinic on site. I completely enjoyed myself and will be back again. As for people complaining about the price, properly caring for all of those animals can’t be cheap! I had no issues paying the entry fee to see well cared for animals.
  • What a hidden gem and adventure hiding in the corner of the North Myrtle shopping center. Was a small but fun-filled activity full of various animals that was very entertaining for my kids to enjoy. Staff there was great, friendly, knowledgeable, and appeared to love their jobs also. The diversity of reptiles there from lizards to snakes along with other animals such as hyena and mountain lions made it a fun afternoon stroll to keep the kids busy. Highly recommend as it was one of our more favorable activities in Myrtle area. Worth the admission!
  • We totally enjoyed Alligator Adventure. We went in October and basically had the place to ourselves. It has shaded areas to stay cool. Their snake building was stocked with so many species. Watching the alligators get fed was cool. They offered a showing 2X a day. We had a large family group (6 adults, 3 kids & 2 babies) and everyone enjoyed themselves.
