Previously known as the Village of the Barefoot Traders, Barefoot Landing is a shopping complex built over a filled-in portion of Louis Lake. The 15 quaint village shops of unusual wares that once made up the complex has expanded to more than 100 shops and activities encircle the lake. Many restaurants have outdoor seating with a view over the whole complex. • Love the updates at Barefoot. Shopping, dining, live music, so icy to do and see. Always make this a part of our vacation.

  • We love going here just to walk around and browse the stores. Some stores are a big pricey, but what do you expect in a tourist area. They have fireworks every Monday night at 10pm and they were the best we've seen in a long time.
  • We have gone twice and loved both times. It's a North myrtle beach look at Broadway at the beach, just smaller with less attractions. Nothing to out of the way to see here. But definitely worth the trip to see it. It has come to be a must stop and see for when we visit the Myrtle Beach area.
  • Lovely place to walk around and shop. Delicious restaurants and relaxing atmosphere. It’s smaller than Broadway at the Beach so if you can’t walk quite as well as you used to, you can get just about the same experience here on a smaller scale.
  • Barefoot Landing is a great shopping experience for the entire family. It has a performance art center, restaurants, bars, clothing, hat. Sunglasses, olive, Christmas, candy, art stores and so much more. Even amusement rides and on certain nights fireworks. Plenty of parking.
  • The only reason people go here is #1 for the restaurants or #2 if they do not want to drive down to Broadway at the Beach. It’s nothing special, everything is a specialty store so most of the stores are kind of weird. All of the stores here except for maybe 5 things are all also at Broadway at the Beach. The only reason we stopped was because we were close and just wanted to walk around. But we have never go out of the way for it
