Create an itinerary including Halona Blowhole
At Halona Blowhole, watch the sea water shooting up to 9 m (30 ft) into the air from a molten underwater lava tube. Created thousands of years ago and surrounded by steep, sharp and slippery sea cliffs, the blowhole is one of Oahu's natural wonders and a must-stop scenic spot on southeastern shore of the island. The blowhole is best observed from the safe distance of the lookout point when the waves are high. • This was a very interesting and fun stop on our trip. It was fun to watch the big waves and when the water blew up through the rocks.

  • The Hanalo Blow Hole is amazing sight to see. It's on the Southeast coast of Oahu and is a must see and do. The blow hole is an area where the ocean tides come in and blow an enormous waterspout...

  • Beautiful photo spot. Highly recommend. Worth a stop and a detour. To the right there is a little path that leads down to a small beach area with a cave. Highly recommend checking out both areas. Wear good shoes, watch your step if following path down to cave area.
  • Halona Beach Cove Blow Hole is the target location for many movies and TV series, with its absolutely stunning views and great location along the ocean for beautiful scenery. Conveniently close to Honolulu and plenty of parking, make this a massive tourist attraction. This cove also contains a unique blowhole that adventurous tourists can cautionly sneak down to and view all of its glory.
  • Easy to get to & see but the ocean was not very big that day so the bkowhole wasn't very dramatic. Saw the drone flying around that messed up the helicopter rescue though.
  • This is a great place to stop and observe the beauty of nature. You have the chance to see whales out in the ocean playing. There is also the chance to see a sea turtle playing in the water as well. There is a beautiful beach area to climb down to and swim or snorkel in the clear water. There is a chance to observe the blowhole erupt, but it seems very erratic. Also there is a big area where people have stacked stones along this sides of the cliffs.
  • The lava tubes created a one of kind blow hole, and today's waves actually was impressive.
