    This is a let down. Very run down and not taken care of. It’s an ok path to walk a dog, but not a very good nature walk to stop and enjoy. More of a cut across to get to the beach.

    As of 9/24/2020 the trail was completed roped off due to storm damage. We were able to climb up the observation deck that is at the end of a little side trail. My kids (8 & 9) enjoyed that.

    Oak island has nothing fun to do. This had decent reviews. The people at the Fit Community building literally told us they had no clue there was anything back there Terrible.
