That is the best discovery on The Valley. The store has local products and all the staff are very helpful and super friendly. Try the egg salad and the chicken pesto sandwich. It’s really a unique discovery so plan some time to visit. Cheers!

A Napa staple and great spot for lunch! Food: the sandwiches and salads were great. We had the Oakville signature salad and hot chicken sandwich and would recommend both. They make all their food to order behind the deli counter. It's also reasonably priced, but they get you with some of the other items throughout the store. Ambiance: there's plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas to help keep it cool. They are keeping things safe with COVID and limiting the number of guests inside at the same time. They also require masks to go indoors.

The is a place to go it you want to try Local wines without making appointments or pressures! Very relaxed environment, where you could pay by glass of tastings for 65 different selected local wines, grouped by regions and grab some foods to nibble at the grocery stores and sit in the garden. Totally no pressure! 🥰

Unexpectedly great little spot that was recommended to us by our driver when we had some down time between wine tastings. We stopped at Oakville Grocery and immediately went to their wine tasting room. We had never seen a spot like this where they had wine set up like a self service soda fountain! You swipe your credit card at the desk and they give you a wine glass and a card and that you use in their wine dispensing machines. It was so convenient and fun. We got to try many different wines and felt the price was fair. The room itself is beautifully decorated with nods to Napa's history. They seem to be super busy over on the food side and the parking lot was packed, but our driver did stop in for a sandwich and said that it was delicious. If you have some spare time during your adventures you should definitely try stopping into Oakville for a bite and a glass of wine.

HIGHLY recommend. This is the perfect stop between wineries for an affordable, high quality lunch. This grocery has everything and more you would expect from a local deli. Cheeses, assorted meats, local honeys, etc. The big selection of cold and warm freshly made sandwiches from the deli (which are delicious and filling) were overwhelmingly good and unique. There is also an outdoor wood fire for pizza too, which we tried the margarita pizza. On the same theme with the sandwiches, the pizza was much better than expected. They have an entire coffee bar as well which was a much needed pick-me-up in between wineries. Also, they have an incredible wine selection, including cold wines for those hot Napa days. The best part: you can pick any wine and bring the bottle outside and drink it there. The outdoor environment is perfect, lots of sunshine (and shaded tables too) where you’re completely surrounded by Napa vineyards 360. I’m coming here every time I go to Napa for the rest of this short lived life. Cheers mate!
