Turnbull Wine Cellars, Oakville

Spectacular vineyard. Easily my favorite on this road. The sophistication of the wine pairs nicely with the more hidden and quiet ambiance as compared to other vineyards down the road. Osvaldo is very knowledgeable, outgoing, and true to form in his explanation of tastings and service. You can’t beat any of the flagship wines. 2019 great year.

My husband and I have been to napa three times now and we randomly chose to come to Turnbull. It was the best decision we have made! One of the best wineries we have been to and what an amazing experience! Highly recommend and highly recommend having Walter as your sommelier! The wealth of know he has and how personal her was made the experience even better. Do get me wrong the winery speaks for its self but Walt just elevates the experience. We look forward to returning!

We’ve been to Turnbull twice and it always exceeds expectations. We love Napa Valley and will go to Turnbull every time. Today, we had Robinson as our host and he was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Robinson was hands down the best host we’ve had at any winery. This place is amazing and we would recommend it to anyone coming to Napa Valley. Turnbull could go toe to toe with any winery in Napa Valley, no question.

Visited Turnbull with a group of friends on a spring Saturday and had the BEST tasting experience. Jeff treated us so well and we couldn't have asked for a better selection of wines, better weather, or better outdoor seating & ambiance. Turnbull has standing tasting areas indoors, but by far the best place to relax and enjoy your tasting is outside in the terrace area - plenty of chairs and tables for small groups of people, cute outhouses, and easy proximity to the vineyard so you can walk through and see some of the grapes up close during your tasting. Pick a pretty day, sit outside and soak up the weather, no reservation needed.

My wife and I visited this week and had an incredible time! Our tasting experience was exceptional and their Black Label Cabernet is now my new favorite! Their tasting courtyard was beautiful and we could have spent the entire day there enjoying wine and taking in the scenery. I highly recommend to anyone visiting Napa. We will be back next year for sure!
