Art League of Ocean City, Ocean City

We stopped here on our last day and it was a beautiful experience for us. The gallery was plentiful and had some very beautiful art work throughout the gallery. Staff were so nice and there were some wonderful local artists on display too. It was nice to see lots of paintings of ocean scenes too! Definitely worth the stop to relax and take in some art. Many pictures available to buy from the local artists too. Highly recommend you stopping by!

If you are an artist or enjoy the visual arts this gallerybis a must see. Admission is free. Staff is friendly. Exhibitions from local artists are on display with works for sale (at a reduced price to members). There are an wide array of art classes available to interested persons of all abilities.. I feel so lucky to have this in our midst.

Although I have been to Ocean City many times over the last 60 years. I had no idea that it had such a wonderful league of artists and such a beautiful way of showcasing them. I am so pleased at the new building for the Art league of Ocean city. Everything is new and crisp. It was built from the love of arts. It’s huge with two floors of galleries and workshops. A number of classrooms and offices. Clean restrooms and a spectacular view. After finding it and enjoying the gallery we signed up for a glass. The sign-up for classes was easy. We did it in person but it could be done on the phone or on their beautifully designed website. We enjoyed the two hour fused glass class. The instructor was very fun and informative. Actually we were the only two in the class. Assuming because it’s summer people have other plans. It was like a private class. They have a schedule on their website of all the classes and events, as well as a Facebook Page of past events. You can find many types of arts, from glass, ceramic, painting to jewelry, simple clothing, & greeting cards. Their small gift shop area had unique finds. This will definitely be a go to stop whenever we are on the Eastern shore.

Art attractions aren’t usually near the top of the list for most beachgoers, but both Delaware and Maryland’s coastal areas have several galleries; most of them feature works by local and regional artists exclusively. The Art League of Ocean City is housed in a multi-level gallery that sports contemporary works in a variety of mediums. Since their exhibits are continually changing, it’s likely that you’ll see something new each time you visit. When the exhibits are changed each month, there’s a free reception that’s open to the public; it’s a great way to meet locals and rub elbows with some pretty impressive artists.

Went to their murder mystery play. Very enjoyable and professional done ! Recommend going there for something different. Also lots of cool art pieces to view or buy .
