Field Of Screams Maryland, Olney

Field of Screams Maryland was amazing!! Made for a fun night of thrill and scares! The beginning area is fun with the bonfires, concessions and haunted house. It was a nice little intro to the night ahead. The trail was MUCH better than I anticipated! The decorations and themes were so well thought out. The actors did a great job of startling you. Definitely worth it! Check this place out before Halloween is over!

Went there for the winter lights (been a few years since I did the Halloween event) it was blistering cold the night I went so one recommendation is bundle up (if it's cold that night) as you will be outside for at least an hour. Parking was easy and when you enter there a bunch of fires to warm up and sit for a little while in front of the tree. Also near the fires they have food and drinks (pizza, snack funnel cake popcorn, hot chocolate and stuff like that) once you start the event its a nice walk with plenty of places to stop and take a picture with lighting decor. All in all and fun winter even with spouse, friends or family.

My husband and I went to FOSMD last year, 2021, and had a blast. We enjoyed the carnival games and photo opportunities. The house and trail were scary, imo, and it was fun catching up to another couple who we ended up walking the trail with. I am hoping my step kids will be up for it this year! Definitely recommend.

Field of sighs more like it! Overpriced with no scares. I arrived at 920 for a 930 ticket and didn’t get to the trail until 1205am. The trail is 45 minutes at least and everyone gets bunched up so you’ll see the few scared there are ahead of u if the actors aren’t as tired as they appeared. Lines 1-2 hours and I’d almost tell you to skip the haunted house—it’s just stupid and short for at least an hour line. I go to a ton of haunted houses and this was the worst in terms of bang for your buck. I will say people were rather behaved, I felt safe with all the police, and parking was easy as the only redeeming factors. Just take that money to go to universal horror nights—same price some nights.

Had a lot of fun! We went fairly early in the season, so there weren’t a lot of crowds or lines. Parking was easy and close to the grounds. Friendly and helpful staff. The slaughterhouse was okay, not too scary. The haunted trail was great with decent scares. The trail is more so a series of mini haunted houses, and several of the houses don’t have actual actors, but at times the anticipation of someone jumping out was just as scary! Though it would be nice to utilize actors in some of the empty houses. Overall had a great time!
