Ski and snowboard in winter or hike and camp in summer at Hurricane Ridge, a pristine site that affords all-encompassing views of the Pacific coastline. Sitting 1,598 m (5,242 ft) high in the mountains of Olympic National Park, in an intense wind zone, the ridge has unpredictable weather where it can snow any time of year. The drive along the ridge overlooks the Olympic mountain range with views of meadows and snow-capped peaks. Watch for wildlife here. Check the visitor center's information desk, which provides maps and tips regarding the park's facilities and regulations. A snack bar and restrooms are also available on-site. This was the first thing we did when we got to the park! It was definitely busy, but not annoyingly. We reached the top and a fog cloud had rolled in, we walked up the path and as we did, the fog...

I rushed to get here before dark as I was on a mission to cram. There are multiple trails but the best views are right in front of parking lot. The colors around 5pm were gorgeous, all earth tone...

Choose a sunny day to visit, and views are totally rewarding. wheelchair accessible, drive all the way to the top possible in July, Aug. We were sceptical as we encountered the marine layer spreading, while we were driving up (3:30pm), but at the top it was clear day blue Sky spectacular view of cascade mountain peaks, deers grazing, soaking in the warmth very close to car parking. We took the ferry to Kingston from Seattle, visited lavender farm in sequim, and then drove up to hurricane ridge

Very scenic drive. Roads are extremely well maintained. There was some construction today that I believe runs through September. Slight delays close to the top as a one lane road was in place. Paved trails were lovely. Worth a trip.

Highly accessible viewpoint at the top the Olympic mountain range. Great place to stop for lunch with a view, head up some wonderful hikes, or start at longer backpacking trip. I definitely recommend getting there early as this place fills up fast, you'll see a lot of families around the shorter paved trails.

Went in early august and it’s just awesomeeeeeeee.. fantastic views and amazing nature . It can get a bit cold up there , even in peak summers. . There is a good cafe and a visitor center on top of this mountain. Really awesome place . Drive up wasn’t that bad . Just drive slow in turns . Lots of view points before you end up in hurricane ridge . Loved the clouds and the whole thing was so photogenic … there were some small trails to get better views but we stayed right next to the visitor center to take tons of pics ! Well worth it . Loved it . Thumbs up 👍

Spectacular views even if we drive through, need not hike. The roadway to the top of the hill has many viewpoints where we can stop by and see. The top of the hill is windy and cold but the views are worthy
