St. Cecilia Cathedral is the cathedral church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Omaha, USA. Located at 701 North 40th Street in the Gold Coast Historic District, the cathedral was ranked as one of the ten largest in the United States when it was completed in 1959. It is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The museum and gift shop was lovely, and the lady working it was very genuine and kind. Unfortunately the cathedral had a wake happening when I visited so I didn’t go past the first set of pews.

Very impressive cathedral in an unassuming location. My girlfriend and I were awed by many aspects of it - the somberness, the grand scale of it, the quiet, reflective ambiance, and the beauty of every aspect - even in the small details. This cathedral is a treasure!

Peaceful place, nice architecture, bilingual mass (Spanish and English) first read was in Spanish it's feel Latin congregation more comfortable. You need to come to visit this marvelous cathedral !!!

Can't say enough about the beauty of the place, inside out.. The carvings and paintings are amazing. I visited here outside the church hours. It was mystical, the silence and the dim lights. The high ceiling and candle lights. Totally mesmerizing and peaceful. I would love to visit the place again.

Had the chance to attend a family wedding Mass in this gorgeous cathedral. I will say you need to go to Mass and hear the pipe organ and see the beauty of the stained glass windows and the beautiful wood carved ambo. It was just a perfect work of art all the way.

This is a beautiful addition to Omaha! This is as close to a castle as some people will ever come! Truly all inspiring and beautiful architecture up close.
