    Beautiful, clean and relaxing beach. We stopped here to take a breather after visiting Fern Canyon. Amazing views and not crowded at all. Large picnic area.

    Stopped at the campground and headed out to the beach after doing Fern Canyon. Had a nice time with a quick picnic, great views, some beachcombing.

    Not the best or most scenic beach, but lots of clean sand to set up an umbrella or picnic spot. Road in is dusty, so don't wash car the day before. Name is derived from gold-ish sand on the bluffs.....  more
