Downtown Ottawa park right on the river places to park and walk along the river. Boat ramps fishing shelters for family picnics. Sledding in the winter is available.

Beautiful park planty of room for kids to run around. Barbecue also clean park, fushing allowed also. It was my first time in this park event if is 1 hour and 15 min away from my house but ill come back.

Ottawa, Illinois is a great little town. I like Allen Park...along the Illinois River. First off, one of Peter Toth’s Whispering Giants stands along the river. There are other unique art pieces as well, including two pieces designed using parts from an old bridge. Fun place!

Allen Park is always a cool place, regardless of the seasons. Today, with snow on the ground and 8 degree temps, the toboggan slides were open and kids were having fun. The Illinois River is frozen over, but the barges still cut thru the ice.
