  • So many interactive activities! My kids absolutely loved this museum, and there was a ton for the adults to learn too. It was small, but well worth the detour to Franklin Court.

  • See Franklins inventions, read and hear from his letters, realize how good this man was and the improvements he gave his whole life for all people. Another required visit for anyone entering...

  • This is a fun museum! It's very hands-on and interactive, so it's great for kids. There's even a squirrel for children to especially spot throughout the museum. It's sort of a basement situation in basically one room, so you can do it however you like, but I and most folks seemed to take it basically clockwise. Lots of folksy wisdom, funny stories, and interesting inventions! It doesn't get too in-depth in Franklin's life, it's definitely more on the lighthearted side. The museum itself is only $5 but you can visit the site of Franklin's house outside for free and see down into the foundation levels with porthole displays. The museum itself has a very fun gift shop, bathrooms, and stairs or an elevator down to the lower level.
  • Okay, this museum was kind of disappointing. I'm a Benjamin Franklin fan and this gives you a good overview/ history of his life, but it was kind of anticlimactic and not that nice. If you are a super fan of Ben Franklin, I'm sure you'll enjoy it, but otherwise if you have a busy schedule, this is one you can skip. On a positive side, admission is only five bucks. So if I think for five bucks it's pretty decent. But again, something you can skip if you're short on time. I've included some pictures and videos. Please note that in my assessment I am grading on a full 5-star scale and do so with an implicit price-value curve. I am aware that many others on social media may grade on a 3-point (4 being an average score) or 2-point scale (4 being a poor score), but the fact remains that Google gives us a 5-point scale. To me, 4 stars is great, 3 stars is average and 5 stars should be rare - reserved for true excellence or near perfection.
  • Nothing out of this world, however, stopping by to have a look. The museum costs $5 and for that price I think it is worth it. You get to learn about Benjamin Franklin and his inventions. The museum is quite interactive which is always great. Outside you can see the basic layout of what his house would have been. Of course it's just a few white poles to show the structure but still cool.
  • Really enjoyed this museum. There was lots of information, it was interactive. Had stiff for kids to enjoy. It was $5 for an adult admission. I took my time as my schedule wasn't pressing. But you can see it all in about an hour. Outside was cool also, as it had areas that he built up/walked every day.
  • It was very family friendly and not very busy. I loved walking on the cobblestone pathway to the museum. It was kind of hidden, I almost walked right past it. 🤭 There were a lot of interactive activities for kids of all ages. I spent a little over an hour just exploring!
