Do not waste your time or money. The rough is 5 to 7 inches high in most places with no intermediate cut. You can be 1 to 2 feet off the fairway and never find your ball! Greens are rough and bumpy...

I would love to give a different review but you can't charge the money to play and the Greens are in that bad of shape. Most of the Greens are muddy not sprayed and have weed growing through them. The ball wouldn't roll two foot without turning. You can't see the Greens from the Fairway due to the brown color. It was a VGA Tournament so we didn't pay a full rate but I was not pleased with the course management. This is too nice of a place to let it go like this.. Shame on the Greens keeper for this trash!! The course should be closed down for repairs asap!!

Played today…. I can not believe I paid $80-$90 to putt on absolute mud. 100% trash greens. I would pay no less than $15 to play these greens. I am not a hack, just comparing the better greens of the municipal course that are 10x better.

Hello my name is Clayton I am a 20 year young man who loves golf. I have been golfing at callaway gardens since I can remember. It has always been a great experience and me and my family have loved it. Recently we have had a lot of trouble with the new pro and the factuality at the golf shop. Just the other week I was golfing with my brother and was asked to leave by the pro because he believed we didn’t play. He believed just because we were young men that we were trouble makers and only wanted to mess up the course just because we were young. We were escorted back to the pro shop and after he saw we had paid he tried to apologize and let us return but our round was already ruined. Growing up I have always enjoyed the pros and staff and they have always been so friendly and kind and even offered me deals because I came so regularly. Not to mention the snap of the course has also dramatically decreased since the new pro and staff came along. I do not wish anything bad for anyone who works there just for them to be more friendly with their guest and have a better attitude.

This course was AMAZING! I loved it!! I enjoyed every minute of it. So beautiful, and worth every penny. I only give it four stars, as it’s definitely not as good or well kept as some of the top courses in the world, but still probably one of the most beautiful in the country. I only played the Lakeview course. I didn’t get a chance to play the Mountain course.

This place was once a jewel. Not anymore. Played Mountain View course. Greens were horrible. Very bumpy and inconsistent. Fairways were rough and that’s if you can find a place the armadillos haven’t torn up the ground. Tee boxes were the same. Very disappointed. They either need funds to take care of the property or a new superintendent. Either way figure it out. Will not be back unless it changes.
