  • We brought the dogs and posted up for an afternoon on the water. There was some shaded areas too to catch a break from the sun.

  • I really enjoy our time at this little museum! We paid to be able to have the keepers house and lighthouse tour, otherwise you can't go in. The guide was friendly but not very knowledgeable so most of the info learned came from the museum part or pamphlet. They have a private beach which is a really nice spot!
  • Nice and quiet place. Small park. Very clean and well maintained. Light house is pretty. No admission for the light house. You can find small beach if you walk to the very end of the park. It seems like private, but it is open for public. The park is free, but if you want to go to museum you have to pay admission.
  • Love this place. They don't open the gates for normal traffic until 0800. This sucks because I love trying to find great places to watch the sun rise and go for a walk. However, the boat launch is available much earlier in the morning.
  • This was a great place to visit on a Sunday. We didn't get a chance to check outvthe house or museum but definitely had a great day sitting by the beach and enjoying the outdoors. The light house is cool and the area is very beautiful. Perfect for a picnic with that special someone.
  • The museum is small (3 rooms) $7 for adults, does have a small exhibit for kids upstairs explaining osprey nesting. The park with the lighthouse is worth a stop to look around, saw many jelly fish, pelicans, osprey and a bald eagle from the pier.
