Fascinating history museum! The exhibits on Pittsburgh as an industrial and medical powerhouse were informative, but it's the ones on Mister Rogers and the iconic Heinz brand that really stood out for us. Admission also includes access to a huge Sports Museum that pays tribute to local teams and athletes. We spent 2.5 hours here. Interesting tidbit: The building that houses the museum was once an ice storage facility. It started to decline as refrigerators became ubiquitous after WW2. There is paid parking ($10 flat rate) across the street from the museum and we didn't have trouble finding a good spot.

Mr Rogers is awesome. Loved the displays with him. Also, there is an informative and emotional slavery to freedom exhibit. My dog has to stay with grandparents because he's not the best traveler. So he did not see the cool displays. He is sleeping on the couch at Grandma's though so he's fine. However, he keeps eating grandma's dog's food. There might be some tension there.

So much to see and learn about Pittsburgh at the Heinz History Center! I visited the Heinz History Center in early February 2023 and spent more time there than I had planned. With so many interesting interactive exhibitions, it is easy to be there for at least three hours. I appreciated viewing artifacts not currently on display in the visible storage area on the fourth floor. There is a restaurant and gift shop on the first floor. Definitely worth visiting.

Had a wonderful time at this museum. This is a great place to take the whole family as all ages can enjoy it. Activities even my 4 year old loved. Fantastic for adults too. Sports section was good. A lot to see here.

11/20/22 Visited all the way from Cincinnati & this museum was hands down filled with a ton of information. Plan to spend at least 2-3 hours here. $18 admission & $15 parking right across from the building. I enjoyed the interactive displays around the exhibits. It made my experience more enjoyable.
