Domaine de la Terre Rouge/Easton, Plymouth

10/10 experience. The atmosphere, wine and staff are amazing. This was my first time visiting and I was so impressed. The wines are amazing, which comes at no surprise since they have multiple 100 point wines (which we bought).

Their wines were all really good! Service and a cozy kitty made this visit special.

Visiting Sierra Foothills has always been my idea. The impact of the epidemic has blocked my trip. After sending my daughter to summer camp this summer, I can finally make the trip. Since this region is not very well known, I didn't have high expectations. But my opinion completely changed after tasting six wonderful wines, it's a gem and I can't wait to visit again with good friends.

We have been enjoying Terre Rouge/Easton's fabulous wines for over 20 years. While winemaker Bill Easton's Rhone-style wines (Syrahs and Rosés) get the most accolades, his Zinfandels, Barberas, Vermentinos, and Savigon Blancs are exceptionally good!

Really remarkable wines, and wonderful people standing behind them. This is always a 'must' stop on my twice yearly drives up from the Bay Area to the Amador County winery scene. If zins/syrahs/barberras are what you seek, definitely try some here - they're well aged, finessed, and offered at several price points. I prefer their cab sauvignon over many others from other California regions. Definitely add to your list for any Sierra Foothills wine trip!
