Handcrafted wines of the best varietals from the terroir of Amador County, California. These worldly wines include an Old Vine Zinfandel, a Syrah (Rhone), a Barbera (Italian) and a Port (Portuguese). Scott's roots are in Amador County which has allowed him to develop considerable expertise with these varietals.

Napa Valley

Jana Wines are named to convey the romance and passion Scott feels for his wife, Jana, and also for the creation of the wines that they love to share. The wines are from the best of Napa Valley varietals. The Cabernet Sauvignon is an elegant Bordeaux Blend. The Napa Valley Riesling and Ice Wine are innovative wines that spring from Scott's winemaking training in Germany.

My Scott Harvey winery and tasting experience was at the Old Sugar Mill. It was the perfect wine tasting experience. The tasting was $15 for 5 pours. The tasting fee is waived when you purchase a bottle of wine. Our wine pourer was personable and knowledgeable about wine. They have a great selection of wines. I hope this winery will be a common appearance at the Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg. IG: SACRAMENTOHONEY

Hannah, the Tasting Room Manager, is very knowledgeable and happy to guide you through a tasting with information about what you are drinking, how it was created by the winemaker, and even some fun facts about the labels on the bottles. We've been members for years, we love the winery events, and always enjoy the Scott Harvey and Jana wines they produce. But yesterday we gained even further appreciation for the wines, due to Hannah's valuable insight and expertise. Stop by the Plymouth winery and tasting room, broaden your knowledge, and expand your wine palate at the same time! It's a fabulous, fun experience!

Scott Harvey is the quintessential fine wine tasting experience. From the moment you walk in, Hannah and Eric take impeccable care of you. Their hospitality is unparalleled, and the wine is fantastic. Overall a wonderful experience, you would be amiss to not make this winery a part of your wine tasting day in Amador County.

Had a wonderful visit to the Scott Harvey Winery on Shenandoah Road in Plymouth and then proceeded to the Scott Harvey Wine Tasting Room in Sutter Creek. Scott Harvey gave our group (15) a great talk about the wine industry and the history of the Amador region. He shared anecdotal stories from his learning years as well as the state of the wine industry today. Very informative. His wife Jana (also an acclaimed wine industry professional) joined us at the Amador location and both were very accommodating. I hope we bought plenty of wine! The servers at both locations were great as well!
