Start at Sobon and then head over to Shenandoah Vineyards. Great wines and great prices. When you start your tasting at Sobon ($5 tasting fee) you get a branded glass that you take to Shenandoah Vineyards and they waive their tasting fee. Sobon Estates has a super cool museum and vintage wine cellar you can explore. They have a lot of history and really cool information on Amador wine country. Sobon also has a lot of parking, picnic tables and space to lay out while you enjoy some wine.

Sobon wines are our favorite wines for 15 years. The price/value ratio is amazing. Yesterday we visited the winery for the first time. It was fabulous. Paul who did the tour, was very entertaining and knowledgeable. The wines are incredible. We had a lovely time. Cheers! You won't be disappointed.

Have been here several times and will absolutely return. In May we celebrated my wife's (certain age) birthday with a party of 12 and had a fantastic time - wonderful, knowledgeable and fun staff; great wines, competitive prices. More than one person in our party said later "I wish I had spent more there." Highly recommended in any Amador County wine trip.
