Nice easy walk. Parts overlook mountain. Parts of boardwalk are uneven, so might be hard for wheelchair. They are in process of repairing.

What a beautiful piece of West Virginia that is a little hidden gem. The views are breathtaking; especially during the right time of day. The native plants and animals are fun to read about and look for on your walk. The scene changes quite a bit at different times of year but it's still gorgeous. This is a must see in West Virginia!

Beautiful! I felt like I was in Canada. The boardwalk into the glades was an easy small hike with outstanding views. If you plan to go in the fall, dress warmly in layers because the weather is unpredictable.

Great place to visit. Easy Walk and worth it! This location is off Forest route 102 (FR-102). The parking lot is fairly large and has a set of bathrooms and a small picnic area up the hill from the parking lot. Off the parking lot is a wooden pathway through the woods that opens onto the Round glade. The wooden pathway goes through various parts and different types of glades and returns to the starting point. We went to the left first, clockwise from above, around the loop. The first part is a large open field to your left as you walk this way around the pathway. The forest is to your right. Then it will take you over the Yew creek and into the Flag glade. This is a very different biome. Right after the Flag Glade, there was a dammed up portion of the creek with a beaver den in the middle of the body of water. There are small signs and the names of the areas carved into the planks of the walkways. There are fish and wildlife to be seen as you move through the different areas. The walk was very easy and pleasant the day that we went. I highly recommend it to my fellow travelers.

Such a unique and beautiful place! I want to come back. We walked the trail twice and both times there was something new and different to observe. We did find some pitcher plants, many fungi, ferns, lots of boggy goodness. Don't sleep on this place. And be sure you gas up before going, not many option for gas.

Really enjoyed the variety of plants. It was mid November and quite cold. Snow covered in spots. The path is under construction but we could still easily walk on the uneven bits. Saw pitcher plants, reindeer moss/lichen, and much more. Beautiful red hue across the landscape at this time of the year.
