Camping sites are well kept. Bathrooms, showers, among amenities. Can’t walk down to the beach though. Nice and quite.

Five miles off Hiway 101. We were in space #27, very private. Most spots enclosed in foliage. The ocean-side spots aren't, and they aren't really ocean side but set back from a trail. Hosts and...

Wonderful! We loved our stay at Cape Blanco over Thanksgiving. The sites are spacious--we have a 27 foot RV plus tow vehicle. Each site is surrounded by vegetation which makes each site feel private. There's lots of trees in the campground so Starlink did not work all that great but once you get out of the campground, there's reception. The facilities are clean--the only bad part about the shower is that there's no temperature changing options so it comes out super hot (great for me because I'm always cold but husband didn't like that). The lighthouse was closed to tours but the road is open to walk down to the lighthouse and the trails to the beach. The view and sunrise/sunset are awesome! There's also lots of other interesting places to walk and see in this spacious park. We would certainly stay here again. The dump station is not operating but with your camping reservation, you can dump at any other state park.

We horse camped for 3 nights last week. When we got there both the 4 horse stalls were deep mud. But the super nice ranger came and dropped off wood chips from the trees they had recently chipped. My suggestion would be in the future is to make a pile of wood chips by the manure for campers to access. Super nice big open space in the middle of campground. Water spikets at each site. No electrical hook ups. Love the variety in trails and the open riding place!! Only down side is that the trails no longer lead to the beach. They washed out into 40 foot drop offs. We followed the road down to the beach.. there wasn't any signs to say no horses 😬 All in all a great stay! Definitely will be back.

This place was so peaceful and calming. The only way to describe it is to envision the beach meeting the wilderness... we enjoyed a cabin instead of a tent/rv spot. The cabins were nice.
-
Nice to hear the ocean while camping. Electric and water hookups. No sewer and Dump Station is closed. You can dump for free at Humbug SP to the South of Bullard's Beach SP to the North.
-
Beautiful campground, only downside is that there is no sewer hook ups and the dump station is not open. Great views of the Pacific ocean and historic site on location. I am sure this place is more beautiful in the summer. Definitely worth the stop for the views.
