  • Lots of walking nice paths and they were very easy to walk on and wide. The outdoor areas are beautiful. Did not go inside.

  • The gardens were in particularly good shape on this visit. There is a beautiful fence along the front of the property. There are several tables near the visitor center and on the grounds to eat a picnic lunch. There were a lot of colorful blooms, and the orchid area seemed spruced up. Several features that had not been as noticeable during other visits were very appealing this time--the fairies in the trees were abundant and visible, and the Serenity Garden waterfall was a lovely feature. There is a lovely tree along the back path with really interesting roots, so be sure to walk there look for that. The bathrooms inside are nice, and the gift shop is worth a visit as well. I enjoy purchasing the tiny gift items displayed in a tower of baskets. It is a wonderful place for all ages to experience.
  • This was such a beautiful place. Free of charge lots of greenery, beautiful gardens and wildlife. It was a peaceful and rewarding experience. Perfect to get on touch with nature. The volunteers at the gift shop were super friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely come back again.
  • My wife and I really enjoyed this place. It's free (although donations are accepted and they sell plants, with proceeds benefitting the gardens). They have a good variety of tropical plants from succulents, palms, and more, plus a Florida-specific section, plenty of trees, and a cactus section. It's a nice place to wander and relax. One nice feature is the plant signs with QR codes that take you to a Friends of the Gardens page with a ton of info about what you're looking at. You could spend 30 minutes or a couple of hours depending on how fast you walk and how much time you want to spend wandering and soaking in the scenery. We recommend taking your time. Also, leave some time to check out the plants for sale, and the folks working there are knowledgeable about how to care for what you buy. We even found a super tiny succulent for our very small RV. They also have a gift shop on site with artists' crafts. Note the hours posted online are for the building, but the gardens open much earlier. Keep an eye out for the alligator that lives in the pond! When finished here, consider the short walk to the Port St. Lucie boardwalk for a nice stroll down the river where you can see different varieties of birds resting on the coastal trees.
  • Not a big setup like some other botanical gardens, but it's free and has cute themes throughout. I loved the gated area, the fairy theme, and bamboo area. Very picture-worthy! The day we went, they had plants for sale outside the front and back of the building. There are plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the weather and surroundings.
  • Absolutely gorgeous. The place is sectioned into different gardens. Each garden features a different kind of plant. There's a beautiful butterfly garden and a lake with a platform where you can stand and take a closer look at the aquatic vegetation. They have an event lawn, a beautiful place for weddings. It is well taken care of and it is home to various Florida native plants. Overall beautiful and a great place to just walk around or come sit and admire nature.
