  • Perfect for bikes or foot. There is bridge noise from cars etc. but you are in the very heart of the city just a few feet above the water.

  • Great view of the city scape against the skyline and waters edge. Also nice camera angle for the Hawthorne bridge... Quieter park beside the occasional biker riding by....
  • There are a lot of homeless/mentally ill people that camp here and at night it's pretty sketchy but during the day it's okay. It's worth the amazing view and you have to walk or ride a bike down the boardwalk and trails to really experience the east bank esplanade!
  • Love this place, minus the confusing sign how to pay for parking. Understandable due to the COVID season. Also just a mental note don’t leave any valuable in the car because there are lots of homeless people roaming around. Not trying to be discriminate, more of being safe than sorry.
  • Nice area to walk or ride a bicycle. Most of all, it has beautiful views and it's a lovely spot to take photos of the city's skyline, particularly at night. The area can seem a bit dangerous alone, because at night it's not very well lit. Overall cool area
  • Amazing view of the Portland Downtown, especially at night . Good location for long exposure shots . Panoramic view of the city . A Quite place at night . Nice running
