  • A quick n’ easy beautiful stop! Gives a great glimpse at the beautiful rogue River with several overlooks at the best spots. Doesn’t require much walking to see them all. There is a narrow section through lava beds, a section with waterfalls, and an area where the river opens up. Check it out!
  • An easy and beautiful stop to see the lava tubes and gorge. The sights are walking distance from the parking lot. No hiking required. Perfect spot if you are pressed for time and cannot do the actual hike along the gorge. There are also little neat facts plaques along the trail. This gorge trail is short but spectacular. Got here early in the morning little before noon and it wasn't too busy. Lots of parking and there's restrooms. We'll maintained.
  • Drove by so many times, finally checked it out. Has a kind of Disneyland or zoo vibe. Very nice paved walk ways, fencing. Great stop for the kids. It’s more of a chute than a gorge but still beautiful. Maybe come here after stopping at Becky's for pie. Cleanish not terrible forest service toilets available.
  • Reached the gorge in late afternoon and enjoyed the powerful stream eating through the volcanic rocks. A very easy and accessible walk after or before admiring Crater Make.
  • Short hike on paved trail to see the roaring waters between the wall of rocks that form this Gorge. Interesting information posted along the trail about the history of the area.
