I really enjoy this gallery but the prices are getting silly. A colored pencil half zebra head- way too expensive. That is the type of drawing any talented high school student can create. I'm...

We acquired our first piece of art from Rice Polak Gallery in 1999 and have been collecting abstract and contemporary works from selected galleries on trips worldwide ever since. Our former house in DC, and our recently completed renovation in Truro (both Modernist structures), have been made more joyful to live in because of our collection from Rice Polak. That joy is immeasurable, and we are so grateful to Marla.
Beautiful gallery with some really unique pieces across a spectrum of subjects, visuals and locations. I've found some of my favorite artists at Rice Polak and the staff is so incredibly friendly and helpful with no pressure to buy as they have a true and deep appreciation for the art and want all to enjoy it. One of the best galleries in Ptown and worth a visit.
For over 20 years, a visit to the Rice Polak Gallery has become a ritual during my annual trip to Ptown. I have lost track of the number of paintings and pieces of art I have acquired from the gallery over the years, and I have never regretted a single purchase, in fact, my appreciation of each piece grows. Each year, I enjoy visiting to see the new works by the artists I have come to enjoy, to see which new artists Marla has added to the gallery, and which piece speaks to me, and something always does. I have pieces from at least 9 different artists that the Rice Pollack gallery represents, and I truly love them all. I have more pieces of Larry Calkins' fascinating work than any other artist represented by the gallery, but the first piece I ever bought from the gallery was one of Robin Winfield's composite pieces, and maybe because it was the beginning of a great relationship with the gallery, but that piece, The Red Door, has always been very special to me.
I have been going to Rice Polak gallery for many years. Provincetown is filled with fine art galleries that carry on the town's tradition of over a hundred years as an art colony and Rice Polak is one of the finest. I have purchased works there, as have many of my friends. They have a great stable of local and fine artists from all over the country. I can highly recommend this gallery to anyone interested in art. The blocks of Commercial Street around Rice Polak in the East End, are filled with many galleries worth a visit. If you're in Provincetown, don't miss out on the opportunity to visit the galleries here along with the Provincetown Art Museum. It is a great art town.
This is our favorite art gallery to visit in Provincetown. We just bought a Nick Patten here and it’s a reminder of why we come all the way from New York for art!
