Guy B Woodward Museum, Ramona

The docent, or daughter in law of the main docent, was very entertaining and helpful. My family spent a little over an hour here enjoying the history and artifacts of the area before heading to lunch, recommended by the docent (a local). I wouldn't bring small children but for people who have an interest in local history it's very worthwhile. Please donate!

Wow! We never expected to spend almost 2 hrs in this place. Mr. Jerry, a senior man, was our tour guy and did an excellent job explaining to us everything. And by that I mean He went with us every inch of the museum with the most interesting stories. Highly recommend to visit this place and please leave a donation!

Really neat history here. Enjoyed our time. The classroom was the boys favorite!

The Guy B Woodward Museum in Ramona is open from 10 to 4 on Saturdays. Our Ramona Historical Society has put a lot of work into the post covid reopening, with new displays and tours. It is loaded with historical artifacts, historical information, and historical trivia from San Diego East County from the late 1800s to early 1900s. And it traces the growth of Ramona through artifacts, photos, and timelines. Longtime Ramona residents would enjoy it just as much as visitors and tourists.

Great museum. Many historic buildings and artifacts.
