Established in 1996, James Arthur Vineyards is nestled amidst 400 acres of rolling hills and natural prairie grasslands just north of Lincoln, near Raymond, Nebraska. The surrounding beauty creates a picturesque setting for the 8,000 square foot facility, which houses a beautiful tasting room, a gift shop, and all the production facilities for the winery.

Since opening it's front doors, James Arthur Vineyards has hosted visitors from all 50 states as well as dozens of countries from around the world. Upon arriving, everyone is encouraged to sample a wide variety of wines that will satisfy all tastes. Afterwards, there is opportunity to stroll the grounds, relax under a covered deck by the waterfall, or enjoy an intimate setting by one of the warm, crackling fireplaces in the tasting room...all while sipping wine and snacking on an assortment of Nebraska Food Products. Guests can also explore the gift shop, or observe the production and barrel rooms where the finest of JAV wines are produced.

The wines were delicious, the meads and dessert wines were my favorite. The tasting room was clean and quaint. A few of the wines on display were not listed on the tasting sheet, but hey, who doesn’t.... more

We love going to James Arthur Vineyards. The people are friendly and a very relaxing atmosphere. We enjoy all their wines and ciders. My favorite is the Sweet Charlotte, I always get a few extra bottle for the house.

Had a relaxing evening sipping wonderful wine and cider while listening to music; bread and cheese platter with NE cheese was good; many varieties of drinks; was able to walk by vineyards and up the hill to a scenic lookout

James Arthur Vineyards has hands-down the BEST wine. The atmosphere is beautiful with spacious grounds and plenty of space to sit and enjoy the ambiance. They have a 3-legged cat who is so sweet, like the wine named after her. Any time I'm in the area, JAV is a must-see and their entire variety of wines is so worth a try (and a buy!) My favorite wine of all time is their Edyn's Blush. Enjoy a glass, you will fall in love.

Great place for a "corporate" vineyard. They have live music, great outside seating areas, good wine sample tasting options. The area is really beautiful and it has a very relaxing atmosphere. It can be rather busy though on some weekend afternoons but they have plenty of help so getting served doesn't take long.
