Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk, Rehoboth Beach

Wonderful late fall sunrise at the beach just in front of the boardwalk! Dune grasses are being replenished (foreground of one of the photos) after the storm this summer that cut well into the dunes. The boardwalk photos show the benefit of an early morning stroll, but most any day, year round, there will be more activity throughout the day. Busy in the summer, but a great scene. Shops, restaurants, condos, hotels etc. on the boardwalk and the adjoining streets; plenty to enjoy. Events throughout the year at the bandstand. Numerous benches along the mile long boardwalk, and the backs can be moved so you can face the beach or people watch facing the boardwalk. Dogs and bikes welcome, just check the rules and time restrictions before you go, which change by the season. Free parking off season, metered parking during certain hours on season.

I just love love Rehoboth Beach and the boardwalk. This is a great place for families to go. You do have to pay for parking with the meters. I recommend using the meters they have available for you.

We are boardwalk fanatics & Rehoboth"s is our favorite! There is nothing like strolling on the boardwalk on a summer night with the ocean on one side & cute shops & restaurants on the other. Even better while eating a peanut butter custard Kohr's cone! We spend a week at a hotel or condo right on or just off the boardwalk every year - we love it so much!

A fun walk down a long boardwalk with all the nostalgic food and games you could want. Public restrooms and covered seating are ample.

Rehoboth beach is always very relaxing. It is unique in that it is family oriented yet welcome to EVERYONE. It's a good place to unwind.
