  • Worth a visit! A fascinating look into the founder of Kodak and the history of photography/film. Very well presented galleries and an easy to follow audio guide will lead you through the mansion.

  • I always love the "Sweet creations" exhibit! So many pretty and unique gingerbread houses. Also lots of fun for small kids. The museum itself is also really interesting. More for adults but there is a special room for kids aswell. If your kids are 7+ years and are interested in photography they will definitely enjoy their visit.
  • George Eastman is a prime example of an inventor of such noteworthy value, who can think of what life would be like today without photography? I'm sure he'd love to see how the process of taking a photo has evolved into the simple use of a camera built into a pocket sized cell phone. The generous philanthropist gave a lot of money to fine instituions both in his home town of Rochester and elsewhere, including America's South and Europe. This National Historic Landmark is really worth the visit if you like photography, museums, mansions and history. Students get a discount ticket @$7.00. Adult admission is $20.
  • Absolutely astonishing history. My 2nd time to the Museum everything is very well explained and details you feel as if you stepped into 1905 and Georges Life. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TRIP. We enjoyed the day here. Went for a wonderful steak dinner. And stayed overnight at Comfort inn on Hylan blvd. Fantastic day get away. Treat yourself.
  • Small but great exhibits, restaurant on site is a plus but pricey. The mansion is gorgeous and the grounds beautiful. The kids all enjoyed the art room/kid room. I can't wait to visit each year.
  • Great place to visit. We really had a great time looking at the pictures and the old cameras. Listening to the audio was a very nice addition to some of the rooms we visited.
