  • It's a small town museum with a focus on the police. And some typewriters. And a few sewing machines. It's eclectic, fun and small enough it doesn't take a long time.

  • Extremely interesting spot. Took a day trip for this and couldn't be more pleased. The Seaside riots exhibit was my favorite.
  • What a great little stop for some history. The employees were very welcoming and they provided a great treat for the kids. No charge to enter and they offered a challenging scavenger hunt for the children as well. Thank you to the International Police Museum for making a great family stop!
  • I enjoyed the vintage guns, cuffs, hats, helmets, and badges, and so many other cool items. It's free too. My 10yr old son enjoyed visiting too. There are a few hands on activities for kids. We recommend it.
  • Enter through the store "Wheeler Treasures." The International Police Museum is in the store itself. The museum itself is rather small, but interesting. There is no admission fee, but bring a few dollars to donate (or donate online). I took a lot of quick photos of the entire museum because I wanted to show my dad, a retired police officer. He might like the history of weapon evolution and what hats police in different countries wore. I don't know if the lady behind the counter was the owner or not, but she was so friendly and kind; I'm used to apologizing for my 2 young sons, but she was so cool and helpful toward them. When they were taking their own fingerprints and studying them under a magnifying glass, she offered an extra magnifying glass so both kids could have one. Then when my youngest son found all of the teddy bears in the museum, he got a free small stuffed animal for finding them all! My kids actually had a good time!
  • Its free entrance and there isn't much to see in rockaway but this place seems really interesting. The guy is nice and they have a lot of stuff so stop by
