  • If you like the art of Andrew Wyeth, the Farnsworth Museum is a nice museum to stop by and see. It has some other works of art as well.

  • There's a lot more than just Wyeth here so it's well worth a visit even if you're not a fan. Well-chosen examples of nineteenth and twentieth-century American painting.

  • I was very pleasantly surprised by the exhibits. Lots of variety and different from many museums. Excellent gift shop. Two buildings, one devoted to 3 generations of Wyeths. Definitely worth a visit.
  • Worth it but don't expect all their collection to be on display. I went there specifically to see Katz's portrait of Rudy Burckhardt and was disappointed. The Porters more than made up for it.
  • Impressive curation of art representing regional and internationally-renowned artists. There are two buildings and 6 floors, so we did not get to see everything, but our group looks at art thoughtfully (and rather slowly), so it is possible to see it all in a day (if you’re efficient). Guests wear an entrance sticker and can exit to have lunch (many Rockland downtown area eateries in close walking distance) before returning to the museum. I was surprised by the extensive collection of quality art.
  • Such a great time at this museum, it has something for every art lover. The exhibits are well presented and the space was cool and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Leonard Baskin exhibit alone is worth the price of admission.
  • Leonard Baskin exhibition was awesome. Worth the visit.
