    This museum is very well organized and covers the main areas of historical interest. There is no charge. It was a good rainy day activity for my friend and I who were staying nearby for a few days.

    There is so much to see at The Rome Historical Society! Great displays, Rome history, and so much more! Become a member and attend some of the great events they host. If you want to know more about the people, places and history of Rome the Historical Society should be your first stop!

    Patrick, our tour guide, made my family and I feel very welcome during our visit to the museum. We learned so much about the history of Rome and how it had a major part in the colonization of New York State as well as travel to the West. Patrick is incredibly knowledgeable and he made it fun for us to learn about the history of Rome. If you enjoy visiting local attractions, then I definitely recommend stopping by!

    Not much there. Doesn't take more than 10 minutes to see everything on display. I don't know how they stay open.
