Oregon's oldest estate winery and not sold in stores.After working and teaching on wine on 3 continents and 17 countries, our family has settled in the Umpqua Valley of Oregon. We specialize in wines made using classic European or Old World techniques like dry farmed old vine wines. Our reds are fermented in patented concrete fermentors and we produce Oregons's most naturally grown and fermented wines. Please stop by and meetlet our family share with you our passion for world class distinctive wines not sold elsewhere.

Service was good, but tasting fee was pricey compared to other wineries in the area. We ended up leaving without buying a bottle because we didn't love any of the wine we tasted and they were also not affordable. Not a place to go if you're doing tastings around the area or if you're on a budget.

Best winery experience my family and I have had in a while! Both Susan (the co-owner) and Kelsey were super helpful, knowledgeable, and personable during our wine tasting. The history of the oldest winery in Oregon was interesting and great to know that the current owners are keeping the traditions of wine making alive. Kelsey was the highlight of this visit. She admits to learning everything from the owners and that’s fine she learned well. The four of us left without any bottles we just didn’t care for the wine.

If you want to be exposed to great sophisticated wine, learn a ton while talking to the owner (super passionate, fun and knowledgeable) feel comfortable in a relaxed environment this is probably the best vineyard to do so. I not only had an amazing time but found one of my now favorite wines.

Last Sunday went to the HillCrest tasting room. They had a wonderful and tasty selection of wines. Kelsey was very knowledgeable and her presentation was exceptional. We were very impressed and had the best time. Really one of if not the best wineries in OR that me and my husband have visited.
