In 2001, Stephen and Gloria Reustle, along with their two children, moved from the east coast to Oregon to establish their family-owned winery. Stephen, who owned a successful marketing company before becoming a self-taught wine maker, knew the value of providing “world-class” product to a loyal customer base. Winemaking began in 2004 using only fruit grown from the estate's Prayer Rock Vineyards. And yes, there really is a “Prayer Rock” at the vineyard -- at the top of the south-facing slope is a large rock that was the meeting place for Stephen and his son in the mornings to pray to God for blessing over their vineyard. Not only did this family practice establish the name of the vineyard, but it has kept the Reustle's very busy. Since then, they have bottled approximately 6,000 cases of wine annually, selling out every year.Make Reustle Prayer Rock Vineyards a centerpiece of your Roseburg vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Roseburg trip itinerary site.

Amazing venue. Range of wine. Great service. Highly affordable bites to eat. Yes. really. The wine cave is absolutely gorgeous (rec to owner-play some Spotify guitar music lightly on the background) Wines range from pretty good to amazing. Tasting comes with accompanying bites and tasting fee dropped with purchase (fee $15 pp, spend $50 pp to waive fee) Such a terrific venue…..go!

Visit with a large group, young vines, Merlot best developed, Gruner Veltleiner also very tasty, especially green lizard. Showing promise

One of our very favorite places to spend the afternoon with friends and family. Absolutely love pairing wine with the specialty pizzas and burgers!

Don't know why more folks don't go out to enjoy fall colors in the Vineyards. Nice, quiet wine tasting today - thanks, Jolene!

Underwhelming experience. The staff was very impersonal and did the absolute bare minimum in welcoming you. Such a cool spot with potential but the people are what bring you back and this place, I would highly suggest going elsewhere.
