Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art, Saint Joseph

This small art museum has just enough to wet ones appetite to see more. In the gift shop area they have a few area artists work for sale. A revolving collection as well. Beautiful old home enlarged to accommodate more beautiful pieces. Welcoming environment.

The art museum isn't to big, but it does have some really interesting artwork! Once you walk in the left hand side of the building is a permanent exhibit, the right hand side is a temporary exhibit which currently features two artists out of Kansas City, and the downstairs is all highschool artwork from the surrounding communities. The price to get in for adults were $5 a piece and we were there for roughly 45 minutes. Even then if you truly take your time, you could spend about an hour or two here. Definitely check the art museum out and the workers are super friendly!

My daughter won in her category for a regional high school art competition/exhibit held here. This was our 1st visit but will return. An abundant amount of art. Very helpful, courteous staff as well.

Such a gem in St. Joe, the library has been my favorite since a child. It's a must see if you're in town.

Great small art Museum. Has wonderful exhibitions and a great full-time collection. They also feature a beautiful collection of peonies by hybridizer Don Hollingsworth.
