See a typical 19th-century Bavarian farmstead, visit animals, and watch them perform at Grant’s Farm, a top family attraction. Catch a free tram with a narrated tour to reach the heart of the farm. Along the way, you'll visit a deer park and see numerous species in their habitats. More than 900 animals live at the site, among which are Budweiser Clydesdale horses, buffalos, elephants, camels, and kangaroos. Kids can feed and play with baby goats, and ride carousels. But remember this, the baby goats can be a handful sometimes. Open to the public since 1954, the farm has been visited by more than 24 million tourists. • We love visiting here! This place is so good for families. Staff are very friendly and kind. They have rooms for breastfeeding/changing and to get overstimulated kids calmed. Very clean and the goats are so much fun. Definitely do the family passes if you have kids. I paid for mine online and very easy to redeem in the gift shop when you first get off the tram. Staff will take care of your stroller on the tram too.
  • If you're a family looking to do something near St. Louis on a budget, you should visit Grant's Farm! You pay for parking ($10-$15) and from there you can spend as much or little as you want. They have turned part of Ulysses S. Grant's old property into an animal refuge that you can visit for free. They have quite a variety of animals and some different packages that you can pay extra for some up close encounters. They have a great Beer Garden where you can grab a bite to eat and every adult over 21 can get two generous beer samples for FREE. It hit the spot on the hot day we enjoyed Grant's Farm. Check out the St. Louis Zoo for another free activity. Enjoy your time in the friendly city of St. Louis!
  • Such a great place to visit. It is free to enter. Do you need to pay to park which is cheaper in advance on the website. This is a place where you could easily spend the day. There is a tram tour and then you go to a petting zoo and then there are stables with a couple little food shacks and beer. If the weather is nice it would be nice to hang out here for a good while
  • We had a great day with the family here. Our first stop was to visit the Clydesdale stable! They are also out in the fields and easy to see. The tram ride into the park was really cool with the animals being right next to the tram. The farm park itself is a lot of fun with animals to pet, goats to feed, an animal show and more clydesdale stables. Pay for parking and the rest is free unless you buy things along the way.
  • Beautiful land and fun tour. Clyde dale's and Camels where the excitement of this visit. Only wish I could have gotten the pass for the horses too, but were sold out. What is needed is more souvenirs of the horses. Like better horse photos on a shirt or cups. Over all one of the better attractions in St. Louis.
