  • One of the four new units approved during COVID for the National Park System. Staff was distant and did not offer any help or suggestions. Nice facility and diorama of the historic settlement.

  • When coming somewhere new these welcome centers are a great way to get an idea on stuff to do in the area. The employees are happy to share their information and knowledge with you to make your trip more enjoyable and sometimes less stressful
  • What a gem of a welcome center! The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. There's a neat little gift shop and quite a few displays of local historic homes. I highly recommend stopping in here before you go anywhere else!
  • Nice little welcome center in the historic district of Ste Gen. The staff were very nice and informative. Kind of a small museum mixed with a tourism board. You can purchase a historic site passport here that will get you in to 6 of the the local sites. Includes 5 houses and the city museum. Cost is $15 a person, but if you don't purchase it, you pay individually at each place. If you are a walker, all sites are walkable.
  • The historic site is worth visiting, and the Ste. Genevieve City is very neat and beautiful. More importantly, the staff in the Visitor Center is very informative and knowledgeable. It is a coincidence that we have met him at another National Historic Site in St.Louis before. Again, we have learn many thing from him, and my son also got a badge there. Due to my English level, I made a mistake and missed the Bolduc tour. Anyway, we visited the Centre for French Colonial Life, which is small museum but exhibit each aspect of settler's early life.
  • Historic oldest village in Missouri. Restored 1700s french frontier houses in a quaint downtown. The welcome center has some interesting displays and full town model.
