The carousel has a beautiful assortment of handcarved and colorfully painted horses. Parking is easy, and the giant playground in nearby Riverfront Park gives you a place to extend the fun.

Great little place for a quick childhood memory for the adults and one to create for the children. My son and I enjoyed a ride as well as a frozen treat. Definitely a stop that everyone should make while in salem.

One of my favorite places to go and have fun! I used to ride this all the time when I was younger. I hope to return someday and ride it again.

Very fun place, not over-priced. Fun for the kiddos for sure if you're looking for somewhere to visit on a rainy day. You can have birthday parties here as well.

Worth stopping in to look at the cute gifts inside the carousel building. This place is really nice and the carousel is awesome. There were lots of families with kids riding the carousel. The building was warm inside(weather outside we in the 30's). There were a few homeless people wandering around in the park, and it was a bit creepy. This riverfront park is clean and has good hiking spots with lots to see.
