Bewitched After Dark Walking Tours of Salem, Salem

The best walking tour in Salem! Our tour guide Sarah was knowledgeable, funny and so very nice. I could have listened to her all night! The tour is educational and engaging even for the youngest of audience members. My 10 year old daughter loved it! It was a great way to kick off our stay in Salem. Would highly recommend!

I booked this tour on a girls trip in August 2021 and really fell in love. Jeff is a Salem native who is extremely professional but knows how to keep the tour going and put in jokes where it's okay to. With such a heavy topic to cover, he does an amazing job educating spectators. Jeff is fun, smart and I literally am going on this tour again this coming weekend because I want more people to experience this tour. I definitely recommend it. Just be aware it is a walking tour and you may be tired by the end!

Sarah is pretty dope and amazing tour guide. I want to apologize because since COVID we don’t carry cash and most of the tours we have been doing everyone does Venmo handle for tips. So Sarah please don’t think we are bad Midwesterners. We aren’t but I remember you stating to leave a good review, that I can do. Sarah was such a brilliant and impressive storyteller with each spot we had. She did not disappoint with her dad jokes, her stories, and overall background of the witches tour. We were very impressed and very happy with questions she was always able to answer. She was very confident, and always throwing out good recommendations as well along the tour. I was a tour guide at my university in undergrad and I had to work backwards and Sarah has perfected that as well. Mad tour guide cred for you, Sarah. I loved being a tour guide in college. Informing and being able to provide information to others is a dope gig! We love the tour, thank you so so much Sarah. You really made us research more and peak our interest. I hope you find this review and forgive us for not having cold hard cash. But hey, you are a very good tour guide and we are rooting for you and your podcast. We already started listening and my sister said you have a wonderful and podcast made voice. Thank you for great tour! Also, I love how tour was easy to hear with the microphone. The tour guide was very prompt and very good as making sure we were learning or had questions. HIGHLY recommend going on a tour!

Great tour (worth even single $$$), but even greater with Sarah Black as your tour guide! You can certainly tell she truly enjoys leading these tours as her enthusiasm and level of interaction with everyone is impressive. I’ve certainly learned a lot over the past two years - she has in-depth knowledge of the Salem Witch Trials (I mean she only has a MS in History and has studied this era). As we visit with other friends and family, we will certainly be repeat customers!

This was one of the best experiences in all of Salem. My Fiance and I went for Halloween. We walked through the streets and to the Town Fair, but the highlight of the weekend was our time on the Bewitched After Dark Walking Tours and our guide "Sarah". We had such an informative and eye opening journey into the Tragic, Truthful history of the Witch Trials, and other parts of the rich Salem history. The history itself would not have come alive without the comprehensive and expressive storytelling of our guide. we heard from others that this was the best tour on Essex St. Our experience solidified all those statements. Sarah effortlessly guided us through MASSIVE crowds with confidence and poise, without losing a single person! Our group just had a tremendous time. We will attend again when it is not so crowded for Halloween, If you are attending during Halloween make sure to book your tour WAY in advance (I'm talking book in or june/july) because during that holiday everything fills up fast. If you are planning to visit Salem, I also recommend listening to "SALEM: THE PODCAST" which was invaluable in gathering information and planning our trip. I can not gush enough about this experience.
