  • The Main Show and the Guilty! show were fun and informative. The Lost Museum had a long line to wait in and wasn't good. It wasn't scary and the animatronics seemed outdated. This would be family...

  • We bought the combo pass which included the show, which I believe was one man (who did an excellent job!). The special effects were cool, although could be a little cheesy at times. My only complaint....  more

  • The short play was entertaining and enjoyable. And the trolley tour was really nice and funny. I would say the only downfall was not being able to get off the trolley at certain stops (house of 7 gables and winter island) to take pictures. We went at night and it was beautiful. BMW is pretty hilarious and friendly too!
  • I'm a Salem resident and I am on a mission to tour all the local attractions. About this one: This is a review of the play "The Gallows Hill Main Show". As far as I know, this attraction is only opened seasonally. What it is: You'll seat in a small theater with a spooky-looking stage. The stage is actually pretty cool. The show will last, I think, a dozen of minutes or so (maybe 15) and will talk about legends and lore around witches and Salem. It is not going to be "scary", but it might be a bit too dark and loud for very small children (when we were there, there was a family with a young child, 3 years or so, and they left before the end of the show). There is 1 actor on stage, some effects (like strobes and smoke) and a voice over. The premises are great, I must say tough that you might leave the theater thinking that it should have been a bit longer and a bit more imaginative. Also, maybe more informative. Or with more of a story line. PROs Unique - as far as I know there are not other attractions like this in Salem. Fun, especially if you are going with a group of friends. Spooky - being spooked is what the majority of people visiting Salem in October wants, and besides Scary Houses this is probably the only place where you would be spooked! (again, it is not really scary so don't worry 😊) CONs It is a great idea and there are nice visual effects, but it lacks a bit of imagination, of a story line and it is slightly repetitive. No pictures allowed after the show begins.
  • My boyfriend and I bought the triple tickets so we got to experience The Lost Museum, see the live show and go on the trolley tour. This was our favorite stop on our trip so far! The Lost Museum and show were awesome and the highlight for us was the trolley tour with Jack. He was super funny, knowledgeable and genuine. Sometimes when you take tours the one leading them feels bored, not him! We were totally immersed and entertained while learned/seeing a lot. Thank you so much!!!
  • We did the Lost Museum, trolley (with Jack as a guide) and main show combo. One of the highlights of our trip! The Lost Museum was SO FUN! I loved how interactive it was! The Trolley was fantastic and the show was a great time as well. The actors that were apart of all the attractions were phenomenal, we will be back in the future! If you are looking for something unique and FUN to do check out the attractions here!
  • The Lost Museum was a fantastic haunted house! I took my 10 and 12yo kids and the guide was considerate of the fact that my daughter may get scared. We went early, so it was a small group, which seems better. The guide, Jeff, did an excellent job of engaging the group and letting us get really scared. It took about 20 minutes and was one of the longer haunted houses I had ever been in. I think it was also one of the best haunted houses as well. The main theater show upstairs was concise and informative. We did not buy tickets ahead of time but went straight there and got lucky that we could still get the tickets. I’m grateful to the woman who sold us the tickets because she informed us about the Lost Museum, which is truly a gem in Salem.
