Riverside Park, Salida

Really cool laid-back Park, but the main reason I was there because of the New River Surf Wave which is located right behind the bathroom building down in the river it's the best wave Colorado has to offer definitely bring your wetsuit gear the water is pretty cold this time of year currently November. We pulled up on a Wednesday parked right in front of the park surfed the wave, then longboard skateboard down grab to grab some coffee and then went on a mountain bike ride. It was a pretty good work day in my opinion. On the street where the park is there is an electric car charger and there's public bathrooms that are open kids playground nice green grass chill out picnic benches have yourself a little food.

This was a wonderful place to experience with my family. We were able to sit at the river's edge to get wet and watch the rafts float by. There was a playground and amphitheater, as well as portable bathrooms.

Nice, newly remodeled Lodge and beautiful RV park. They have a barbecue food truck on site which is really cool. There is also a beautiful river walk. Very nice and clean place to stay.

Salida is the place to be! Amazing atmosphere at Arkansas River. Music, great restaurants, dog friendly people everywhere! Just enjoy your life! 😄
