Create an itinerary including Belmont Park
Experience a variety of thrilling rides and a series of other attractions right on the beach at Belmont Park. The amusement park is also a great location to take a trip through history, since quite a few rides date back to the early 20th century when the park was opened. In addition to the historic wooden rollercoasters and swimming pools, the park features numerous modern rides, arcades, surfing simulators, ziplines, and more. You can rent various beach equipment, from umbrellas to bicycles, and if you get hungry, take your pick from several on-site restaurants. Different ticket packages for the park's rides and attractions are available online. • Interesting that the person scanning the tickets (card) has no clue how many tickets it takes for the rides.

  • We spent the afternoon here during the winter wonderland event. Lots of fun holiday decor throughout the park and lots of activities for the kids. Insider tip: all December long, wristbands are $10 off. The ropes course is amazing! I can’t believe I’ve never seen anything like it before. The boys had a great time doing lazer tag too. This iconic San Diego spot is located right on the beach with plenty of free parking in the attached lots.
  • My kids loved coming here. There’s so many attractions for them to do and so many things for them to play with. Even though some of the attractions are fairly old, my kids seem to find many things to entertain them for hours. If you’re an adult and you want to get away from it all, you can go to one of the many bars or eateries that are very close by. Just avoid this place on the weekends as it’s crazy busy.
  • Free to just walk around. Great prices here on everything! Lines are not long. Lots of things to do for everyone. Even a few free attractions! Toddler, kids, teens, and adults. The beach and ocean, a park, boats walking distance if you like that. Vendors along the sidewalk for food, unique clothes, souvenirs, hats for everyone, jewelry, things for the kids, toys, and so much more! I loved it here! Can't wait to come back!
  • Came here for a Vendor Event at Belmont in Bloom. Greatly enjoyed the scenery here. The beach itself is beautiful and the breeze is great. The employees here are all so happy and nice :) greatly enjoyed watching them sing and smile as they went about their work! The food from the venue to the various vendors are delicious. Kudos to the churro man who sells in the parking lot! He fries em on the spot ( SO GOOD) and his tamales are to die for! The zipline is always so fun and entertaining 😄 love the music choices as well. Overall a great place! Can't wait to be back for the rides!
  • This is truly one of the last great original American amusement parks. No charge to get in, only to take part in the rides and attractions. In addition to the usual roller coaster, bumper cars, and midway games, there is Lazer tag, an escape room, and a zip line. The Putt Putt Golf was fun and challenging. People watching is over the top. I highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.
