Ferry Plaza Farmers Market, San Francisco

I’ve travelled the world and always head to local markets. This one holds its own amongst the best. Located centrally, you can be sure to find the most beautiful produce in the area. Whether you’re after flowers, meat, seafood, Mushrooms, strawberries, peaches, cheese, vegetables or more, then this is the place to come. Plenty of take away eateries as well, something for everyone. Disability access is good. Take your time to stroll the stalls and chat the the stall holders. Well worth a visit.

I'm a little surprised I haven't posted a review for the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market in the past. Every time I'm in SFO I go to this market. Large with great local produce, meats, cheese, food vendors, etc. After you're done buying your fruits, veggies, meat, coffee or other items make sure you eat at one of the food vendors. Roli Roti a great choice and super busy and the Mexican stand in the back is also great. You can always wander into the Ferry Plaza Market if you haven't shopped enough. Definitely worth a trip!

Such a cute market with tons of fresh, local veggies, cheese, honey, nuts, empanadas(not gluten free), clam chowder, carnitas, roasted chicken, fresh squeezed juices and beautiful flowers. There are not many GF bake good options here sadly.. Starting from Saturday morning from at 9 am. till about 2pm. One vendor has the biggest carrots, beets and turnips I’ve ever seen! Parking is tough! Walk if possible..

This is definitely one of the most amazing farmers-markets I have attended! There is booth after booth of fresh produce, baked goods, hot ready to eat food, and everything in between! A must stop if visiting or if you live in the area! We ended up buying a sandwich for lunch as well as some California olive oil!

Such and amazing place, so many stalls on a Saturday Morning. I wanted to eat it all.
