The best place to buy tea in China town, and worth a stop as a tourist! “Uncle” (the shop owner) serves free tea tastings with jokes, life advice, and knowledgeable insights into the many teas you’ll taste. He explains the proper way to brew tea and the differences between the different teas. The teas are high quality and are from China. The entire experience is very wholesome and Uncle treats you like family. One of the most authentic China town experiences you can have. Did I mention it’s free?! Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area, even if you don’t buy anything!

I didn't have the pleasure of trying the tea this time, but there were 3 gentlemen enjoying some tea with the generous and intelligent Cambodian woman running the teahouse. These gentlemen said this is a wonderful place for tea and they come regularly for the staff, the healing and the enriching conversation. Their testimony was enough for me, I can't wait to try this place next time!

One of the best experiences I had while visiting SF. The staff (owner and his daughter) were really fun and welcoming. They were very generous with their free tea samples and shared so much tea knowledge. I recommend trying their famous ginseng oolong, Jasmine pearls, and various aged pu'erhs.
