  • This is a must stop while starting your PCH trip. Lots of parking and kind staff. We saw lots of beach squirrels also so that was cool.

  • Lucked out as this was a good time, when they birth and mate on shore. They live most of their lives at open sea.

  • A great spot that you must make. The seals were very entertaining and active almost throughout the day. There are volunteers about to share more about the seals but you can also take a pamphlet to read on your own. Great conservation and protection efforts for the seals while allowing us humans to appreciate them from a distance.
  • We always enjoy taking our daughter to see the elephant seals. If you’re in the area and have the opportunity, stop by. Currently in addition to the adult elephant seals, the baby seals are also out. It’s pretty cute if you’ve never had the opportunity to see them. While we were there this time, the friends of the elephant seals were also there with a pop-up tent and demos. Very educational and fun for both children and adults.
  • Such an amazing view and a must see for sure. Took a road trip from a Los Angeles to Lake Tahoe and this was a pit stop for me. It was very windy and chilly and arrived around 6 which was a perfect time as the sun was beginning to set.
  • It was a weekday about 11 AM when we visited. It was not super crowded but we took the trail to the right. Awesome vantage point! They had volunteers to answer any and all questions. Right now (January) is birthing/mating season and we got to WITNESS an actual birth of an elephant seal pup. So amazing! 10/10 recommend stopping when traveling on the Pacific Coast Highway.
  • A must stop when driving along the coast. You can get a beautiful view of the ocean and a close up of the hundreds of elephant seals. This was a beautiful vista point to stop at for kids and adults. There was plenty of parking and the walk along the boardwalk was easy and very pleasant. I made my visit at the end of March. It was beautiful.
