  • There are so many great things about the ski resort. There is a wide variety of ski levels even though the map only shows two green runs. I found blues that were easy for me (midway). My husband...

  • I am staying at the Selkirk Lodge. 3 days in on a 6 day trip. No ski lockers were available when I checked in an after checking numerous times still no ski lockers available. You can’t take them to your room so they are stored willy nilly in the baggage room. The baggage room is left open with no monitoring and people taking numerous skis out with no accountability. Also the rooms seem to have limited hot water for showers. Nothing like cold water in the middle of a warm shower. There is no written list of amenities or where they are located. When using the hot tub you have to go through a construction are with tools and stuff to trip over. The food choices are limited and the bus into town does not run at night. We have a very nice room but so many other thing fall short. This may be my last time here. To many other better choices.
  • Our first time at Schweitzer today. We had a great time. There is plenty of challenging terrain for all levels. Despite some recent warm weather the snow was in great condition. By most standards even a crowded day at Schweitzer is not crowded. We never waited more than a couple of minutes for a lift ride.
  • We went snow tubing at Schweitzer recently for the first time. Price was fair. Happy to see there were no fees to park but unhappy with how far away from the snow tubing we had to park. Snow tubing was great fun. The attendant working at the top of the hill to unhook tubes was AWFUL. It's a bit of a struggle to stand up quickly when your tube is slipping around. There's no handrail or anything. He was very very rude. Yelling at people to move it etc. I said he was making it not fun and another attendant pulled him aside then he left. Everyone was great after that. If you are plus size, try going up the hill facing looking down. It'll be much easier to stand up.
  • Schweizer is a top notch resort. The people are welcoming, mountain food is delicious, lifts are modern and fast, and it's a family owned business so you don't get the corporate generic resort feel. Plenty of acreage to cover so you can enjoy any type of run that suits you. You will not be disappointed.
  • the website wasn't working for weeks, called customer service and tech support multiple times and got no response and sending an email to customer service (and getting a rude and condescending response) i was finally able to get through to quite possibly the only professional employees they have, who were able to explain the situation with the website and actually offer some help, i can leave a better review. still, it shouldn't take weeks to buy a few hundred dollar pass. mountain itself is nice, but that's mostly mother natures work. could be nicer if they paid their employees a liveable wage !
