Great Wolf Lodge Water Park, Sandusky

I will definitely be returning. ALL employees were extremely nice and helpful. Special shout out to the greeter in the lobby. Everything was clean. There’s a water park and I didn’t see a drop of water in the bathrooms and hallways. Items were reasonably priced, you expect to pay a little more than usual at places like this. There was so much to do. We only stayed one night, but were able to visit the water park both days and had time to go to the arcade. Some games were higher priced than I liked, but my child didn’t complain about the amount of time we spent there. The rooms were lovely. We got the camp theme and my child was so excited about it. Thank you for the great experience.

Me and my family had a really good time! I don't really have any complaints. I can definitely see myself bringing the family again. We got the unlimited breakfast both mornings and it was very tasty. The rooms were clean. And had enough amenities. My only real complaint is that the pillows in the rooms weren't very good. Small complaint really. But they could really use some more comfy pillows. Quiet time is at 11, and it was definitely quiet. We had a suite, so the bunk beds were very nice, and in a separate little room. I definitely recommend if you have toddlers who need naps and such. Allowed us to still hangout in the room without disturbing them too much. We didn't eat much there other than breakfast, but that was definitely worth the price. We were stuffed! Parking was tough here and there. I thankfully found a decent spot, and was able to for the most part, just stay in that spot. But it initially took a bit to find an open spot close to the room. Not a huge deal. But more parking would definitely be nice. No real complaints. Definitely a VERY kid focused place. Not like Kalahari which is very young adult-adult focused. The lazy river sort of left something to be desired. I was really looking forward to lounging on the river, but it's very small, kind of boring, and too many kids were just running through it, so it wasn't super relaxing. Regardless, everything else was a lot of fun. Thanks!

Check in line is quite long, but processing is very quick. We arrived 2 pm and was able to get our suite. Staff are generally quite friendly. Hotel room is clean and bunker bed is very unique. Bathroom is a little small, but manageable. Water parking area is great, with small kids area, hot tub, swimming play area, main splash structure, 8 different sizes of water slides. Kids enjoyed the time and didn't want to leave. Living in the hotel for 1 day and you can enjoy 2 days of water park for the day of check in, as well as the day of check out. Life guards are doing their jobs. You can rent locker and towels. Inside temperature is warm, outside pool party is great, but get a little chill. Quite many people are inside the park, but it seems not overly crowded. Check out is fast by a simply OUT text. The water park and hotel are not brand new for sure, but look like newer than 25 year old.

Great customer service. Every staff member was genuinely helpful. The water park staff enforced the rules but were not over the top about it. They were definitely invested in your safety, but they were friendly. The food was good. All of the food was good, from the pancakes to the burgers, chicken, and fries were cooked just right. Prices were reasonable, a little on the higher side, but nothing compared to most resorts. I would've rated this place 5 stars, but the beds were beyond uncomfortable. The pillows were so overused that I needed 3 to support my head. The rooms were clean and well stocked with essentials and when we needed additional towels they were brought to us in minutes.

What a great place to go on a last minute get away trip! Great deal on the room. Also an awesome water park! Love the Build-a-Bear shop. The worker was really great at her job. Also my daughter had fun with worker. We loved the clock tower show, and the lobby of snow at the end of the show.
